Is there a quarterback controversy? Question? Kerfuffle?
Bortles seems to have a mental issue.
As such, I don’t see him recovering and succeeding because mental problems don’t fix themselves when the pressure is really on. And it is on.
So, because I think he has what it takes to succeed, I won’t be upset when he bombs. Hope he bombs well, and quickly.
Then he will have a chance to really figure out what’s wrong, and try again. Gotta hit rock bottom to reboot. Best thing for him, and us, is to get it over with.
So go ahead and suck, Blake. Put in Allen, and see if Bortles can find himself, the old himself.
